Eric Gray, henceforth known as your Narrator, has the distinction of losing Billboard magazine’s ‘Air Personality of the Year Award’ for his stellar work on a morning radio show in Tallahassee.
After this devastating professional disappointment, he was immediately fired.
Your Narrator continued his radio career to great acclaim, being unexpectedly terminated from delightful radio gigs throughout the Southeastern United States by some of the biggest names in the radio industry. The best of the business, titans of radio leadership, all agreed at different points of their distinguished careers that your Narrator sucked balls at his radio job(s).
Your Narrator, being a resourceful sort, returned to college and earned two degrees. Then, he went into politics- giving a refreshingly different industry several prime opportunities to fire him again.
Your Narrator has appeared on CNN, FOX News, in the New York Times, and other publications that he can no longer remember (including your mama’s dreams, for real). Your Narrator most recently appeared on 60 Minutes+ (September 2021) on an episode about Q-Anon on the Paramount network.
Trust that your Narrator has both dined with kings and slept in dumpsters. Thank goodness his deep, resonant voice has emerged from this career trauma unscathed. He resides in Gainesville, Georgia with his patient wife and his needlessly aggressive dog.
